First, be aware they are closed Wednesday. Second, classic perfectly fried chicken. No special herbs and spices, straightforward yardbird. Moist, flavorful and crunchy. Fries, mushrooms and o-rings all good as well. Slaw was fresh and dressed at end, so skip if you' don't like crunchy cabbage forward slaw vs "creamy". Garden salad is great option vs slaw if prefer.

This place is one of the best places to eat in Missoula. Don't be in a hurry because it takes about a half hour to get your chicken but totally worth the wait time. This is some of the best fried chicken one can imagine. Everything is cooked to order and is fresh. I have been going for years and will continue to go as long as they are open. Highly recommend this place. The cheeseburgers are excellent as well. Kids meals are top notch. Everything on the menu is very good

The best fries chicken in town. We’ve been eating it for years. It’s always good but it extra food if eaten in. The fries were perfect and the chicken hot but delicious. It’s always perfectly cooked. I love their cold slaw too. My sister always has to have some when she comes to town.

I had the chicken strips. They were awesome strips of a whole chicken breast. Breaded and fried to perfection. The Moscow mule I was served was sub par. It was served in a regular plastic water glass. This restaurant had been a family tradition for decades and it brings back good memories. Thank you DF.Food: 5/5

If you’re craving chicken this is the place to go, it’s fantastic! This is not your typical restaurant chicken, frozen and thrown into the fryer. This tastes better than anything we’ve had and yes it takes a few minutes longer, but for fresh and great tasting chicken it’s worth it! The sauces are also made in house and tastes great. But no restaurant would be complete without some friendly great service and they truly delivered! Wish we weren’t just passing through Missoula as we’d be back to try the fried chicken the following day!

The best fried chicken I've ever ate . The service is always great friendly comfortable atmosphere to eat in I've been eating there since I was a little girl times have changed sometimes people have a bad day but they're very consistent double front always have been it's definitely worth the wait highly recommend it for anybody when my mother passed away I got chicken from them and they did an amazing job for her reception the waitresses and Cooks there have always been friendly courteous I would highly recommend double front to anybody that ever comes to Montana! Thank you
