Double Black Cafe

Great breakfast and great lunch spot! It was actually a happy accident that both the cafeteria and the restaurant were closed, otherwise we might have missed this fun spot. Great music, good food, the BLT was the star. A few great local beers and the staff’s attitude lifted the place up. I would definitely hit this place up again if I were to ski Kicking Horse again!

Under new management and, I have to say it was the best gluten free BLT I’ve had, in life. Dijon-style aioli, arugula and loads of bacon! Friendly Golden style service and views to boot! It’s our local for bevies & grub for both summer & winter seasons here on the mountain.

Excellent food and coffee, if a bit disorganized with the order system. Drinks seemed to get significantly behind food.

Excellent coffee from trained baristas. It’s a little bit hidden from the main road. Park your car and walk to the bottom of the gondola. Double black is straight opposite the entrance to the gondola.

Right at the base, offers lots of coffee options some pastries, and beer. Cashier didn't know what a macchiato was but whatever they ended up making was pretty good.

Excellent quality coffee, did not have any food, but my cappuccino was consistently excellent for 6 days!

Had Haloumi burger. Amazing! So tasty and huge portions. Fast quick cheery service in a beautiful mountain setting

Looks really nice inside and menu looks promising. I am a latte lover and I’m not a fan of this one. Also staff could be a bit cheerier or explain things better.
