Great caramel latte and beef panini with lovely bread. Good WiFi connection too. Very popular with locals and tourists. I could have easily spent the day working here. They have coffee beans for sale if you're into that.
It looks like proper coffee place but it isn't. The cappuccino we got was ridiculous. Lots of milk foam on top see pic, no taste. It's weird, as they roast their own coffee, have selection of beans, so I'm surprised that you get this kind of coffee in the end.
Nice place to stop by in Golden and have a coffee. They have nice selection of beans that you can choose from to have your drink.
This was my coffee place for an entire month of 2020. The barista at that point in time was working all by herself making coffees in store and doing deliveries somehow with a smile on her face - not to mention making my partner and I feel incredibly welcome as Australian's who were 'stuck' overseas. Had several of my favourite mocha flavours in Canada here too :
Excellent coffees, friendly service, and great atmosphere!
It can get busy which can make for a wait. It's well worth it. The latte art is pretty, and the drip coffee selection is outstanding. It can run dry though, so make sure to let the baristas know. The kids enjoyed the hot chocolate and the staff was very friendly.
We went there yesterday and had mount 7 macchiato as suggested by the barista and it was best coffee I have had in a long time. I liked it better than Starbucks. Would love to go back for coffee when in Golden, BC.
We were in Golden, BC this week and we’re looking for a good coffee. We stopped some people in the street and we were told this was the place to go! My friend got her Cappuccino and I got my all time favorite, Caramel Machiatto with macadamia nut by recommendation oh my, sooooo good. Well, I have never had a better tasting coffee ever! No bitter at all! Just lovely sweet creamy goodness! And the Barista was amazing! Before we ordered, she explained a bunch of stuff to us, the teens enjoyed their recommended drinks and my flavor addition was the bomb! Coincidentally enough, as we we about to leave town and head back out to our AirBnB, we saw the same people who recommended this place and were able to tell them thank you! Wish I was closer already, I so want another one right now! Really bad! I want one again! I will definitely go back again next time or when I drive by!
Love coffee and having worked in coffee shops for many year we looked at this place with beans selection and their own roaster and expected a proper cup. We chose two types of “fresh brew” to sample local roasters and were totally disappointed! Just cups of watery ash, no where near the right ratio for proper extraction...again as others had said I was asked whether we were having them in and had to use desposable cup. Seems the trend to have great beans n roasting then brewing badly only resolved by adding tons of cream n foam...
As a home coffee roaster for 10+ years, I am able to confidently say the coffee is outstanding. They have a small batch roaster on site, which gives this coffee its remarkable flavor. Have an espresso to really experience the quality. Worth stopping for a cup.
