We stopped here to pick up breakfast. The lattes are amazing with dairy free options. The food we ordered was fresh and homemade. I especially enjoyed the coconut energy balls. Lots of options for the whole family.

A quaint little breakfast / brunch place plus a coffee shop in Golden. We just decided to stop by as we were driving past it. And that was a good decision. While travelling we always look for this kind of mom and pop coffee shops and restaurants which give you a very local feeling as well as a taste of local cuisine. As you enter you will be greeted with a very crisply decorated coffee shop, giving you a very homely feeling. The ladies at the counter were equally pleasant to interact with. The food was fresh and warm and definitely tasted great. We loved their egg bowls. I had that on both days we went there. The coffee was warm and freshly brewed. The prices are very reasonable too. If you are in town please make sure to visit this place for breakfast.
Off the beaten path in Golden, but definitely a must stop! Had the iced latte and it was perfect for a day in the mountains. Theu serve coffee from Calgary. Seating outside and inside. Don't forget to catch the view of the river and mountains just a block away.
Nice atmosphere. I was unfortunately refused to be served as I require gluten free. Don't bother marking it on your menu if it's not appropriate for those that need and be more open to answering questions about how food is prepared.
I woke up super early because my sleep schedule is all messed up flying from Toronto. This was one of the few coffee shops open early in the morning. I'm glad I came to this one though, it had an amazing atmosphere to it. I ordered a cinnamon bun out of the suggestion of the barista which was amazing. But the best thing about this place was the hospitality, Michelle was one of the kindest people I met on my trip. She had a pleasant attitude and joy to talk to. Would stop here again to buy more food and just to sit down.
The ladies at this shop are so incredibly nice and made our trip through BC extra fun! We are from out of town and they helped point us in the right direction for things to do in the area. The coffee was great as well, every time we passed through Golden we had to stop by again.
Probably the coziest and nicest coffee place in Golden. Friendly service, pretty interior and very good coffee and fresh food
So glad we stopped in here on our trip. The raspberry white chocolate latte, muffin, and breakfast sandwich was delicious! Everything tasted homemade. Great service from the staff.
We've been there 3 weeks ago. The food was great but the atmosphere was awfull. I've never been in a coffee shop with such disinterested and unwelcoming what I think was the owner of the place. I suspect something bad happenned to her earlier in the morning. Nevertheless you working in a consumer facing service...take the day off or do you accounting in the back and let the staff take over...be happy, enjoy life!
