I feel these reviews are not fair. This is not a 5 star resort. No where is it advertised as it is. The prices are VERY reasonable for what you get. We rented number 7 which is in front of the pool and play area; my kids loved it. The view was beautiful from the porch, would see the boats going by. We had adequate space for our family of four, plenty of outdoor seating, canoes, kayaks and a large BBQ for grilling. It is a few minutes away from restaurants, gas and groceries. Easy to find. There is no ac (but heaters and fans), we came in September so we were comfortable. I would definitely change me back. The owner was very accommodating and greeted us upon arrival. These are cabins not hotel rooms or mansions. I felt I got great value for space and facilities. The view is unbeatable!!

We rented 2 cottages and stayed for 2 nights. Both were very functional and clean. They have everything including new fluffy towels!
The owners were nice and accomodating. Actually they have very interesting stories to tell. They are very well travelled, diplomatic, and cultured. They own a very impressive and educational museum which was laboured by the owner through his passion, hard work and creativeness.
There are many things to do in the cottage like kayak, paddle board, swimming etc. The wifi is strong enough that we have wifi while doing bon fire. (Not that we need it because there are many other things to do but it's available at our convinience). There's also many tv show selections (again why watch tv when you can do that at home but it's there).
The mattress were comfortable. There are two levels. You can remove the small thin mattress on top if you find it too soft because underneath is a firm mattress.
Also the location is great. It is close to the Upper Canada Village.
Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Email sent to TripAdvisor and Google regarding Attack Reviews:
Dear TripAdvisor and Google
Please remove these attack/negative reviews from your sites for the following reasons:
1.) Customer (same customer using different ids/aliases) did not book through TripAdvisor or flipkey.
2.) Customer booked 2 nights, but after 1st night decided (and for unknown reasons) decided she needed to checkout/return home. Reasons given had no basis in fact e.g. Customer complained could not sleep well due to uncomfortable memory foam on top of pillowtop mattress. Owner offered to remove memory foam to allow customer to sleep only on new pillowtop matress (mattress new this season/less than 2 months old). Customer refused offer to remove memory foam and said she still needed to checkout early with no other reasons given. Owner believes that customer had no intention from the outset to stay the minimum of 2 nights during peak summer season. Our reservation policy does not allow for refunds if customer leaves during stay without a valid reason e.g. family sickness/unexpected emergency. Foam mattress is removable and owner offered to remove foam, but customer still refused to complete stay.
3.) See other other travel agency reviews of our resort which are overwhelmingly positive.
It is our opinion, that individuals should not be allowed to place such attack reviews through TripAdvisor and Google. Trip Advisor and Google should closely monitor such attack reviews, and contact the resort owner, before allowing such attack review postings.

Nice location, but the facility is run down and rustic. Important things worked, and the owner was very welcoming and friendly but lots of little things needed more attention. In time I'm sure they will get ahead of things. I would stay again in the future.

First time staying and we regretted it so much. The owner is amazingly rude. Their cottages are very old and in horrible shape with chipped and flaking paint. You will not be able to sleep on their mattress. This place is to avoid!
