Amazing food! Very impressed with the Jumbo pizza - one of the best I've had till date. Cinnamon buns and "pink" dessert was amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
I know Donato's is known for their pizza, but their bakery goods deserve more attention! I'm usually not a chocolate cake person, but theirs is SO good not too sweet and very moist it's definitely one of my favorites along with the red velvet cake! They also have a myriad of other options for desserts so there's an option for everyone! No matter who helps you in the store, they're always very friendly and lovely! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who has a sweet tooth like me!
My family has been going here since I was a kid because everything Donatos makes is amazing. Along with their bread I‘d say they probably also have the best meatballs in the city. You also can’t go wrong with their pizza and baking!! Very delicious and authentic Italian food, and their friendly service also adds to the delight of going each time and am always happy to support this small local family business. Highly recommend!
I ordered a large pizza. We got vegetarian toppings. Pizza was cooked through, great topping coverage, not too much or too little sauce. I really enjoyed the pizza and the cinnamon buns! Only thing that would make the experience better is more variety of toppings. Roasted cherry tomatoes would be great!
New to Thunder Bay so I decided to visited Donato's Bakery and ordered a pizza and cannolis from them. Service was exceptional and the quality of the food reminded me of home. I also tried one of their cinnamon buns and they were heaven. Making this place my new cannoli spot!
Donato's is my go-to pizza takeout restaurant in town - I highly recommend it! Their thin crust and home made sauce makes any topping combination delicious and they have great customer service. They also make delicious buns and treats.
This is by far my favourite pizza place, the staff of always so kind and welcoming, they always go above and beyond. It is family owned and it shows. I have never once been disappointed, highly recommend!!
When you walk in you’re met with the most wonderful smells of all the delicious baked goods everywhere. Service was quick and friendly, kids absolutely loved the pizza. Highly recommend this local gem
I totally recommend this place! I placed an order for pizza and I was given 3 cinnamon buns for free. So awesome! The pizza was great! The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Fresh baked items daily. Always friendly. Great prices. Best cannoli in town hands down
