I live very close to this location and I visit very often , always get cards, gift papers and a lot of different stuff. Wanted to write review long before but today I am doing it. First of all if you have kids then for their art stuff this is one stop shop but if you don't know where you can find it LOL it's your problem because they don't even know they sell that stuff, understandable that everyone can't know everything but they don't even try and they make it as it's your fault.nI never wanted to pick someone but there's this lady with short gray hair is always angry because you did ask her something, ALSO very lady maybe she's MANAGER and she told me not to buy stuff because she couldn't find the price of product and was super lazy to go and check, and they talk about you in other language and not wait until you leave the store.nThis is ridiculous that your job is to solve customer issues and you're so rude and worst at that only job. And it's sad that they don't know anything and it's sad that stop to Dollarama can be stressful.
I live just near this store. And I always go there. But one day I went to this store and buy a gift card for my friend. Which I don’t know where is it. So I asked for the cashier’s help. But what she did is ridiculous. She swear in Ukraine and said go find it by your self. I was shocked! Could never believe a cashier would speak to me like that. Never coming again!
I had a disappointing experience with customer service during my recent visit. The staff seemed more interested in socializing among themselves than assisting customers. At checkout, the cashier ignored me completely, choosing instead to converse with a colleague in another language. While I respect linguistic and cultural diversity, I believe it's unprofessional to exclude customers from the interaction. This isn't about the variety of languages spoken, but about basic courtesy and acknowledgment. Furthermore, the store's selection was underwhelming compared to other locations. Additionally, the presence of panhandlers at the entrance added to an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. Given these issues, I'm unlikely to return.
I went to this store for over a year. I often came in with my electric scooter, everything was always fine. And then the other day I went into the store with an electric scooter again, I almost finished choosing goods, when some guy of Arab appearance, without a uniform, jumped up to me and started demanding that I leave the scooter outside, where homeless people were sitting under the doors of the store, or that I should leave the store. This was extremely unpleasant for me and I will probably never return to this store.
This store deserves no star at all. I went there to buy some Christmas decorations yesterday. I asked help from a sale person’s assistances because it was beyond my reach. Initially he did not want to help me, but I insisted. He grabbed the fake flower, dragged it so hard and threw it to my basket. The flower was broken so I asked for a different one. He became so impatient and said this was dollarama, what did you expect? Then he called another assistance come over. The second assistance told me I had to buy the broken flower. I told her it was not me who broke it. They are a bunch of snobs.
