Chickens and fries are prepared at the time of ordering, hot and tasty. Extremely friendly staff, right at downtown of Bancroft, free parking. You don't normally expect sethimg like Dixie in a small town.
Worst fried chicken experience I've ever had. 22$ for a 3 pc combo of soft batter fried chicken that was flavorless. The fries were awful too. Took about 20 minutes to get my food. Wanted to give this place a chance as I liked the small town vibes of this restaurant. I was warned by a local that it wasn't great and boy I wish I took their advice. I can't even finish my meal. Avoid this place at all costs.
Just drop by to see a rally race in Bancroft then saw this restaurant.. Their Chicken are crispy skin and tender the inside meat.... also not greasy chicken and the light breading unlike the other big name franchise... Fast serving and very pleasant customer service.. Few hours away and I will be back... Fish and chips also are good Parking: Good spots and clean
Great chicken. Clean nostalgic restaurant. The staff are so beyond friendly and helpful. This may seem strange to say for a fast food restaurant, but they really seemed to work as a team. Food was quick and even though we were eating in, the one lady knew we would be taking some home so included a bag without us even asking. Fabulous place.
I live in Bancroft now and went to Dixie Lee sometimes and now i go there almost everyday for years now.The chicken and everything else is delicious and really healthy for you.The staff is just wonderful too.Very friendly and warm.They really take good care of you there.
I was traveling through Bancroft on a business trip and decided to stop in at this Dixie Lee fried chicken restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The bathroom and dining area was immaculate and the staff was super friendly as we ordered our food. When it comes to the food, it was hot and the chicken was moist. You guys have done a great job and I look forward to dining at many more Dixie Lee fast food restaurants in the future! You guys are awesome!
A Canadian Classic! This is one of 2 remaining Dixie Lee locations in all of Canada! Chicken was fresh, fries were perfect, and the coleslaw was on point.
Paid $41.93 for a 10 piece chicken. Only received 8 piece 3 of the pieces were wings very disappointed for the price I paid. Check your order before you leave.
Chicken was so good and staff couldn't have been friendlier even though it was 15 minutes before closing. Very happy with the experience.
Chicken breast sandwich and fries. Not how I remember them from a decade or so ago but not bad. Only 2 locations left in Canada.
