Tried this for the first time with a take out order which I placed online. The margherita pizza was really good. The crust was finished with herb oil which gave it a nice taste. The online ordering experience was seamless. That said, I was told the order would be ready for pick up by 12:07 although it really was ready at 12:17. Keep that in mind when picking up online orders.
What a gem this place! We had the Margherita pizza and strawberry milkshake which were awesome. The girls that work here are great. Patricia’s cheerfulness made our experience exceptionally wonderful.Food: 5/5
This is a really interesting pizza. The flavor is absolutely amazing. We got the margherita pizza and it absolutely blew us away. The garlic crust was chefs kiss. However, the crust was super soft and floppy. Definitely no New York fold.
Delicious pizza! I ordered The Italian Job and it was very flavourful. Staff were also very friendly - would definitely come again to try the other flavours.
Horrible. I asked for well done and it came barley cooked. The other pizzas had barely any sauce or toppings and had no taste or flavour. Very overpriced for what we got. The salad had pale pink “ tomatoes “ , wilted leaves and bottled dressing. Yuck. Don NOT EAT HERE!!!!!
Really good pizza. Staff tends to be a little surly. New location is nice. Menu has a lot of interesting items, including a good variety of toppings and weekly features. Unfortunately, this place is slow as hell. If you place an order on their website, it is guaranteed to NOT be ready at the estimated time they provide, even if the place is empty. So give yourself lots of extra time beyond what they say. It’s never been clear to me what the causes of the delays are — sometimes it seems like they don’t even start preparing my order until I arrive. Mushrooms seem to be over represented on the menu for some reason. I can’t stand them, so perhaps I’m noticing it more than most people would. Their garlic dip is hands down the best in the city.
Greek salad was fresh, pizza was good with a number of choices. A good bistro should you be visiting the Distillery District.Food: 4/5
Updated review - After previous good experiences I had a mixed experience on one occasion partly my fault. Carmen from the District pizza team reached out and helped make things right. On my next visit the team were very helpful. The pizza has always been high quality if on the premium end of the scale but it’s great to see customer experience being taken so seriously a good example for other businesses to follow. Also an excellent location to visit and eat outside.
Sweet looking shop tucked away like all jewels are until theyre discovered.. Fresh, clean and simple were my first thoughts upon walking in. Ample seating in and out depending on what the weather dictates when you visit. Six ready made pies to choose from, house fries and soft serve ice cream to round it off. Oh, and any pizza spot that offers San Pellegrino also Brio understands their assignment; chapeau. I had a slice of Wolfgang which had chicken on it as a protein..dope! Also had the Margherita slice no judging and it also hit the spot. Would I reccommend this spot? Yes. Competitive pricing, dope pies and a well simplified atmosphere. Thanks for taking care of us.
As a former Chicagoan, I take my pizza very seriously. And no, I am not a deep dish fan. I was skeptical about finding a really solid pizza joint near my neighbourhood in Toronto. Luckily, District Pizza sprung up around the pandemic and truly delivered. Their crust, their sauce, and their toppings are delicious, fresh, and superb. Probably one of the best pizzas — and best hidden secrets — of the Toronto pizza scene.
