Health Unit - Leeds, Grenville and Lanark

Went for a few breastfeeding assist sessions right after my baby was born and couldn't be more grateful. The nurse Rachel was amazing, no bs, straightforward and supportive. Exactly what our sleep-deprived brains needed to get the message. She even did some home visits and emailed to check in. She detected my baby's lip tie when none of the other medical staff we had seen noticed. She referred us to the dental surgeon who then diagnosed 2 other mouth ties and treated them to help us feed. She also told me about a craniosacral therapy office to help with my baby's torticolis and we had great treatment there too. All in all, she was a huge huge help to adapting to new parenthood. Even my partner never felt diminished as "just" a dad, he was always so confident and happy leaving this office

Professionalism and courtesy is tops here, in my opinion. This authority has done a wonderful job in meeting the information needs of the public. And there is ample help for those who do not use electronic communication. Kudos to all of you.
