We had an absolute blast!! Everything was immersive and hands-on. Lots of fun learning opportunities, different exhibits, games and activities.... We spent the whole afternoon and could have played for longer! Our favourite was the submarine special exhibit, and the Dome space exhibit.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
So much fun for kids and adults alike! Our four year old had a great time with the interactive exhibits. We spent about 3.5 hours, and could have stayed longer!
My boys had a great time. Dinosaurs in Motion is a great exhibit and we had a lot of fun moving the dinosaurs around using the controls. Would totally recommend!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Large variety of exhibits and models ranging from aviation to marine ecosystem. Kids will love it. I as an adult liked it too.
Great place. A lot of information about sustainability, ocean protection and much more. Good place to young kids too with interactive toys and games.
A great place for kids to have fun in a science way. Lots of things to explore for kids and it's entertaining for adults as well. Dome theater is a total different experience to watch a short movie! Enjoyed my time there!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
More to do for the younger kids but we spent a couple of hours walking around.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Great spot for kids and adults! There's no parking on site but you can pay for parking in the surrounding lots and streets. There's a coat room and a small area for kids stuff no locked storage though. Each floor has a set of washrooms with a cafe on the top floor. A bit pricy but you could easily spend 2 hours here with kids of all ages. Spacious, clean, and friendly staff. We'll be back!
Completely disappointed in the new location. A far jump from what it used to be in my opinion. You get either information panel after panel for mature audiences, or areas of let all the kids have a free for all while the parents chat. It almost felt like a daycare of sorts. Wish I could say something positive.
A must-see if you have children while visiting Halifax! The kids loved it and so did we! Learn about different aspects of science, through play! Appropriate for all ages!
