DICK'S Sporting Goods

My wife and I bought a set of kayaks during Memorial Day weekend. It was definitely an impulsive purchase but has been really fun. I was nervous because I didn't really know what I needed to get to be able to haul the kayaks on my vehicle. The staff was really helpful in helping me understand everything that I needed to get. I've had very good experiences there.

They need more help there to help you find things and to help with sizes. I do not like to go there because they do not have enough people out on the floor to answer questions.

Nice store. Seems a little pricey at times. They now advertise price match. Maybe that will help.

I think this store is great for people who are more involved in more traditional sports such as baseball, basketball and track. Not as much an outdoorsy store for people who ski, snowboard, and skateboard. Sometimes we can catch great sales, otherwise I think a lot of the retail product is over priced for what it is (which is not necessarily Dick's fault). The staff are always friendly and helpful at this store, and that is much appreciated. I would give it 5 stars just based on staff friendliness and management. And it is a very clean store. I give it 3 stars because it doesn't carry as much of the sporting equipment that I would personally like to purchase.

A little bit on the expensive side. But they have good products.
