We came in the evening to Devil's Punch bowl. Just breath taking the natural beauty. The stairs were iceie.(keep that in mind when running down/up the stairs.) It was clean around there. It was understood that the city has pride in nature settings. Great place for photos.

It was definitely going to be a better place to visit when it is less snow covered and Icy. It’s a steeper hill than I was expecting and it hadn’t been shoveled or salted. Wisconsin doesn’t seem to do anything with the snow like our Minnesota parks people do. They seem to close places down for the winter. It’s beautiful and if I had the right shoes I would have been going down into it though.

Devil's Punchbowl is amazing in both winter and summer, however winter seems to be the biggest catch. It is a giant bowl carved out of the side of the hill where students from UW-Stout conduct research. It is open to the public, however it is not accessible to actually go down into the bowl for anyone with disabilities, as the only way in is from a set of steep, long, sometimes slippery stairs. It is great for families looking for a new found adventure!

This place is gorgeous. I'm sad I didn't visit before! Further out from Menomonie than I had thought, but still pretty close. I recommend wearing good shoes with traction if you visit in winter. It's super icy and there are A LOT of steps.

Best place in Menomonie to walk around. Especially if you can find the lower entrance.
