Derry Village Animal Clinic

We love the staff at Derry village. They are very understanding, patient and always willing to help. No question seems silly. My dog Roscoe is "special"... he's a rescue who was abused so he's scared of everything plus all his allergies but they are very kind and helpful through our journey. I would highly recommend!

I feel like the vet here just takes your emotions about your pet for granted to get more money out of you. Almost every year we go it seems it's always under new management. The prices are ridiculous and the vet is hard to understand sometimes. However, most of the vet techs are very nice. They are normally really busy on Saturdays and are closed Sundays. When we took our dog here a week ago for his vaccinations, he came back acting weird for about a week after. This is very abnormal as a personality change due to the vet should only be for a day or two at most. The fact that it took him a week to get over it is a red flag for me and I probably won't take him back there. If you do come here, I recommend coming during the week, if possible and only for check ups and vaccinations at most. It would also be a good idea to get pet insurance as the prices are very high.

The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The the vet tech Salita is very dedicated to providing the best care for pets, as well as putting a heir owners at ease by answering any questions or concerns they may have about their pets health and/ or their medications. Dr. Sharma is genuine with his love for animals, and has a nice calming energy.

Top notch vet care in Mississauga.Dr Sharma is very professional, extremely knowledgable,welcoming and compassionate doctor. He explained me all the procedure and offered the best possible advice for my pet.I have never seen this level of care in a vet before. and there prices are unbeatable. I always know that my dog is in great hands here.As long as i have pets I will continue to go to this clinic.

I absolutely LOVE the vet who's here. It's quite far for us, seeing that we live in Toronto but damn is it worth it! He may not be the most warm and friendly person, but he knows what he's talking about and respects not just the owners, but the animals themselves. We've taken our little grey and white cat, who's our pride and joy twice now. The first time we went, we got her teeth done and microchipped. She was there for about 8 hours and he took such amazing care of her. She has very bad anxiety and usually doesn't do well with people and he respects that. That whole visit came to around $200 which was cheaper than most places we called. We had an emergency a couple of weeks ago, our baby got into a fight with one of our other cats and her eye was cut. We panicked and we're certain her eye would have to be sewn or removed completely, but we took her back to him and he assured us it wasn't as bad as we thought. He said she just needed some eye drops, (which he went out of his way to get for us) and that she needed to come back after 10 days for a checkup. We got our cat home and noticed she was panicking and acting weird, so we thought she was having an allergic reaction to the medicine he gave her. We called them back and they told us not to worry and bring her back so they check on her. We got back in the car and drove all the way, and we were treated with such kindness. They're brought our kitty some snacks, water, and because she's not a fan of the vet, he had his receptionist do some of the work. Our baby calmed down and he gave us the all clear. He even checked his records and confirmed with us it wasn't an allergic reaction, as he's given our cat the same medicine before. We just took her back for the we check up and she's doing wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! IF YOU LOVE AND CHERISH YOUR PETS, PLEASE TAKE THEM HERE!!! They treat you and your animals with respect, kindness, and they're very patient! Thank you for such amazing service!
