Great place to explore. Trails are well groomed and easy for all. You can enjoy the forest or by the river. Lots of parking with bathrooms at each site. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to see wildlife on your adventure.
Great trail, for walking with the family and friends. Also great for running. It is about 12 round trip from the parking lot to Fort Langley. You can always take a break at km 6 and have a coffee or lunch in Fort Langley.
Located on the banks of the Fraser River, this regional park has trails that wander past river and mountain views and through deeply shaded forest. Day use areas provide picnic tables and washrooms. Historic buildings, heritage apple trees and other reminders of pioneer days make this a memorable place.
As before always a treat to visit. Had a small campfire and ripper time with close friends. And a very tolerant Barred owl let yacking visitors take his picture. " OK now move along, move along"
We ebiked from Newton to this location. Very beatiful place for family picnic and scenic walk. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful well maintained trails, only suggestion would be for more waste bins along the Houston Trail together with water points for anyone walking their dogs
beautiful park like wow never been here before we went for a fammilyreunion was beautiful and fire place beautiful hiking trails fishing spot evrywhere
Amazing nature, water, greenery, mountain views, the clouds a very nice place for a walk, or simply sitting there enjoying some quiet time. Barbecue is allowed, picnic tables available. Public washrooms also available. Camping site on the east side. I saw some kids playing in the water too. Not a lot of parking though, so be there early. It was a hot day, but it gets chilly very quickly, the air is much colder there so bring something to keep you warm if needed
Hidden gem of sorts. Especially if you are local. Park has several trails, very big green area right next to parking and water, off leash area for dogs and rv camping on the other side. There is some tables with benches and some under roof tables that can be reserved. Good for biking or walk with kids. There is some fire pits on the bank of the river close to water. Only problem it gets busy and hard to find parking sometimes. Water in the river is dirty, also some trails and parts of the park can get flooded sometimes because of the proximity to Fraser river.
Flat trail, well maintain park. Good for dog with leash in some area and they can be in out leash with fence so thw dog will enjoy their walk. Must be visit. We see some people do day camping but we dont know how they book it prolly online. Also they have some picnic area too.
