This park is a easy stroll through the forest. Very peaceful and stress relieving. Lots of these cute little fellas running all over the place. Dog friendly and a leash required especially so they don't chase the squirrels into the woods or up trees etc.
We got a 12km walk in this park! Pretty cool place to go and be immersed in the wilderness in the middle of a city. Lots of signs of Spring on the trail and the paths were not too slippery or muddy at all! Lots of different parking lots to choose from with bathrooms at a few of them. Also, a few steep hills to go up if you want to get some elevation gain into your workout for the day. I also found a water pump that was working and put out fresh clean water. Great place to wander and get lost in the scenery if you so wish!
Quiet and nice easy walking trail. A squirrel will come up to you by your feet. Very adorable! I have heard few will climb up to your shoulder. Worth stopping by this place!
This place was just beautiful we did the little loop trail and it was such a nice stroll. So many great places to stop and admire the beauty mother nature has to offer.
Love this park! I currently use a mobility scooter and it had no trouble when on the little River loop trail. I always love seeing the birds and squirrels along with the gorgeous plant life here
Absolutely beautiful. So nice to be immersed in nature. Such an abundance of greenery. I had a chickadee land on my hand 4 times......a truly spectacular experience.
One of my favorite places to forest bathe. Lots of cute critters, ponds, and magical things to find. Great trails to walk in the trees or meadows.
A large, and beautiful park. You may have to dodge some horse manure depending on your trail choice, but it is 100% worth it. It is part of a watershed, so flooding is common. Bring high boots.
This park is a gem. Super therapeutic place to go for a leisurely stroll or bike ride to clear your head, especially on a nice day. Well maintained and clean trails. Plenty of spots to stop for a picnic as well.
It was so serene with fresh air the best natural therapy u can get there .Today was grand opening of nature house and it was so much fun .The musicians are like just keep listening. There are kids activities too. So many parking spots too.Loved the trails and relaxed there for a while .It do have disabled parking slots in almost all parking spots.
