The secret to success is much like the secret to making a supreme pizza - the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. We’re as hungry for perfection today as we were when we first opened our doors since October 2007 in Tatamagouche “Meeting of the Waters”, one of the most historic places on the North Shore of Nova Scotia, visited by tourist from all over the world specially in the summer time. Within no time, loyal customers spread the word about the “Best Pizza Around”.
At Derado’s, everything is prepared fresh in our kitchen with the finest ingredients. Quality is at our core. The pizzas are legendary because they are prepared with homemade everyday fresh dough. Our own pizza sauce recipe and the best quality mozzarella cheese blend.
The menu has a variety of mouth watering food that is sure to appeal to everyone’s taste. From our supreme pizza that you can make it with your own toppings and our famous garlic cheese fingers to our oven baked subs, freshly made creamy Caesar and zesty Greek salads, homemade lasagna, three dipping sauce oven baked chicken wings, chicken shawarma on a pita bread, and our original Nova-Scotian Donair topped with tomatoes and onions, served with our homemade sweet donair sauce. Customers can also order a 12’’ Take 'N Bake pizza and cook it home. You can always choose to order your pizza in Thin Crust.
Our concept is a take-out restaurant where customers pass by to greet you first and take their orders, however customers are welcomed to our small sit-in area where they can enjoy their meal break or suppertime. School students and workers from all over the area pass by to grab a fresh slice of pizza at any time.
