Dera Biryani House

Halal* i have been to this place few times either they ran out of biryani or were closed. Yesterday i was lucky to catch my biryani box for the first time. First lemme tell u always call ahead and reserve your biryani.I loved the chicken biryani i tried i have been to many places but this place tops it. Especially the freshness taste and alot of masala. Must try. Currently they have only biryani different types.

I have been waiting for the best biryani in Canada and i found it right here in MISSISSAUGA. A hidden gem. I have tried many many many biryanis but it didn’t really satisfy my taste buds. But I have finally found the one at Dera Biryani house. They really put their heart into it when they make the biryani. I ordered the Veal and Chicken biryani large tray. The flavour, the taste, the combination of rice with biryani masala was just delicious. Veal biryani had soo much flavour. It was fresh. It was HOT. It was delicious. I can go on and on. If you guys are ever craving biryani, this is the place to be. I drove from Milton just to get this biryani. The owners are so nice and accommodating. I asked for a fresh tray they said it should be ready in an hour and they did as promised. My favourite part of this biryani was the potato. I would definitely come back to this place no matter how busy they are. Thank you Sohail for making our lunch special !

Best Biryani in Mississauga. I tried their chicken biryani which has an authentic Karachi taste. Will need to try their veal biryani now. It’s a small shop only for biryani only take out no dine in space. 5 star for the biryani. A shop can be little organize and would suggest the owner to work on the customer service. 4 star for the overall experience.

One of the top two biryani's in GTA. And the nicest of family owners who try to provide the best service. It's a good Biryani which lives up to all the hype that it has around town. Everyone is comparing this with the Biryani @ Karachi Xpress. Both are good but there is no comparison. The other one is a Daigi Biryani which is a completely different taste & look than the regular Biryani which Dera has. Compared to other watery Raita's, their's is thick & tastes great along with the Biryani. Best of all, if you order a tray, they do not hold back on the quantity of raita. Also their Biryani does NOT have Aaloo so if thats a must for you than you will be slightly disappointed.

I am in LOVE with their Chicken Biryani! I've tried other restos in the area, NOTHING compares to the Biryani here. Perfect level of heat and spices. Looks and tastes homemade. Just delicious. I will be coming back again and again. Compliments to the chef!

Little bit pricey. Take cash with you if u don’t want to pay $1 extra as debit machine charges. Tried there chicken biryani. Tastes good

Amazing! After 5 years finally I was able to find a good biryani spot! Reminds me of Karachi biryani. Loved it. Ma Sha Allah too good. Thank you so much for serving us with good quality food.

I had chicken briany it was real Karachi briany taste i taste allot briany in Canada this one is better than all really delicious

Below average Biryani. Tried couple of times but same blended taste. On top of that they have raised the prices 3 times in one year or so & now selling for $15 w/ Tax.. Even a high end restaurant doesn't sell it for that much & this is just a small takeout place but priced like 5 star restaurant I wonder why bcz the taste & quantity doesn't justify a single bit.. In short Overhyped do not recommend ...

If i can give this place 10 stars I would! So welcoming and good customer service! The biryani is the best i had! fresh and delicious! The owners are very sweet and kind especially the lady was generous and made sure that the container wasn’t too hot for me l, gave me extra packaging just because it was hot. this is definitely my permanent biryani choice! The quantity of chicken- 100/10 Spices were 10/10 Customer Service-10000/10 Fresh food- 10000/10 Very happy to have discovered this Gem!
