The Department of Jewish Studies, established in 1968, offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of Judaica. We offer concentrations in Jewish Thought, History, Bible and Literature, and also, courses that enable students not taking a Concentration in Jewish Studies to broaden their knowledge of Jewish history and culture; elementary, intermediate and advanced courses in Jewish languages - Hebrew, Yiddish, and Aramaic.
