Crazy sweet delicious treats is just what this place is all about. Walking in greeted by fabulous decor and presentation this fix for anything chocolate, mouse, creamy, tasty is just fabulous. Lady there was gracious and very helpful as there is so much to choose from. Ample casual indoor seating with tables nicely dressed makes this a fun place for friends to grab coffee and treats. Prices are very affordable too. Latte and expresso choices were done just right. A pleasant find along the strip.
The store is beautiful and clean. All cakes look beautiful and visually appealing. We chose Chocolate Raspberry Heart and another one constructed out of pistachio and strawberry. The Raspberry one hit the mark on every aspect and I highly recommend it if you are looking for something that's fruity. We weren't as impressed with the other one though, I didn't really know what I was tasting until my partner reminded me that it was pistachio, and the strawberry layer felt not as luxurious as other parts of the cake but rather something you can get at the grocery store... I see some people noting that it's pricey here. While I don't completely disagree with them, I feel the prices are still reasonable. I understand they serve drinks here as well but perhaps not asking for a big tip defaulted at 15%, 18% and 20% might help with the final bill and maybe have less people being surprised when seeing the amount at the end. Of course, there's a "No Tip" option but there's always that pressure to tip when asked...
The pastries here are beautiful to look at and taste delicious. They also offer Nespresso coffee here, which is good, but I would like an authentic espresso to match these great desserts. The dining experience was positive, the decor is beautiful, and the staff was very helpful. My only real downside is the pricing, which I found expensive. Individual deserts, which are small, are $8-9 each. And they're cakes that in my opinion would serve 4-6 people are $45.
We stumbled upon this place after rows and rows of bars when we wanted coffee. Boy, were we in for a good surprise! Luxurious is the right way to describe this cafe. Everything from the interior decoration to the presentation of the desserts looked simply exquisite! Each pastry was at the higher end of $10 but it's a "treat yourself" kind of thing. I got the pistachio and it was absolutely divine. The pistachio flavor was delicate and the cream inside wasn't too heavy. The nuts on the coating and middle layer of chocolate balanced the whole thing well. Service was also top-notch. Very memorable experience overall - will come back if I'm in the area again.
I ordered a small cake and a selection of mini mousse cakes for a family gathering and they were a big hit! Everyone enjoyed sampling the different flavours as each had different layers, shapes, and textures - not to mention being beautiful. The pure vanilla cake was my favourite - so smooth and creamy. The owner Fred was also so kind and helpful while ordering and personally handed me the order when I picked it up. The friendly service I received really makes a difference, I could feel the care that went into everything :
I was walking on Ossington and decided to pop in here to check it out. I ended up staying and having a treat with some tea. The treat was delicious and tasteful and the tea was very high quality. Even though the portions are small here, it's just enough, and for high quality pastries the prices aren't bad. The atmosphere was great and the customer service was excellent. I would definitely go back.
The desserts are a work of art. Most range from $8-10/piece. Some looked too pretty to eat! Had the cappuccino and it was good. The aesthetics of this place are unique. Dark walls & minimalist decor around. Several seats available. The menu included hot beverages, glazed cakes, and pastry’s. Really enjoyed spending the afternoon here. The service was quick, you pay once you are done eating/drinking.
Gorgeous little spot! Saw it on my feed and was worried it would be all hype but it’s actually very tastefully put together. The flavours are unique and the staff are very thoughtful. There’s also motorcycle parking right across the street so if anyone seeking your ride through the city this is a great spot to stop and recharge. I would highly recommend the lavender pistachio but the Black Forest was a bit overrated. 11/10
"Don't judge a book by its cover" applies here. Thought the place looked beautiful as did their desserts but flavours were mediocre. Coming from experiences of eating French baked goods partner is French and I visit often, these desserts were underwhelming. We tried the Pistachio and the Chocolate Twist. Each were $10 so we had expectations. Pistachio sort of tasted like the nut but was fairly simple - creamy with no complexity. The Chocolate Twist was basically a block of heavy chocolate. We were hoping for some layers or an element of surprise like a different texture or a different flavour. The cookie that both desserts rested on had absolutely no favour, were heavy, dry, and just not edible. We felt that a dessert like that could be paired with a thin honey crisp or something more balanced and enjoyable. Server was nice but did not offer us a glass of water for the overly sweet and uneventful desserts.
Came in when it was really quiet and no one was there. I was attended by such a sweet person who was managing the store at the time. Not only was the store such eye candy to look at no pun intended but it was a pleasure to be there as well. The gold detailing and atmosphere of the store brings you in and the desserts make you stay. The pure tropical mango was a delight and so fluffy. 100% recommend.
