Went with three friends just to hang out (I pretty much only get manicures for weddings). It was a great experience and I'm thinking about going back just before Valentine's Day.
Pretty much no one here speaks English as a native language, so you'll want to make sure you're clear about what you want and speak up if something seems off. That did happen to one of the girls with me, but the main spokeswoman got it fixed for her. Anyways, the manicures themselves look great! I got a cats eye that looks great (even impressed my male coworkers!) and two weeks later, the biggest chip is about three times the size of this period. My other friend got a color-changing manicure which changes noticeably every time she goes outside. They knocked off the extra charge for the catseye, probably because I was already being slow to decide!
But they were great and patient and we had some good conversation both among ourselves and with the more fluent techs. The most stiff people were the other customers! This is also the first time I've gotten a manicure without a raw spot or scab the next day (my cuticles are horrendous).

They did a terrible job with ANC, my nails are uneven, lumpy, crooked, and way too thick. After I told the woman doing them they were too thick and uneven they told me I was wrong. I called to speak to the manager and told them that my nails looked awful she hung up on me.

I used to go here quite often for over a year and now that this place is under new management, I WILL NEVER GO HERE, AGAIN. If I could give 0 stars I would. The people who now run this place are liars and scam artists. The woman broke my nail while buffing it. Now, anyone I know would have flipped but I let it go because I knew it would be fixed. Yeah, they fixed it..... AND TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT. They also tried to charge me for having a different shade of purple on my pinky nail. $5 per pinky. They claimed I came in with a "coffin nail" shape and the woman had to file them into a point so that was an extra $5. Um, no. My nails have always been stiletto shaped. Nobody told me anything about me being charged extra at any point in the service. Nothing until I get to the register.
So, I go to cash out and the lady JUST STARES AT ME waiting for me to pay her. Ever since I started going to this place, I get the same exact service (minus the "professional" breaking my nail) and it has ALWAYS been $30. I figured that her just looking at me meant that was what I owe. I hand her $40 and she stares at me and she says "You're short." She runs over to her boyfriend and they start yelling that I'm short and it's $50. That's when they started listing all The extra bull charges (the shape, my pinky nails). The service wasn't worth $50. How are you going to tell me my nails were a completely different shape? How are you gonna add $20 to a normally $30 service and not tell the customer? On top of that, they made a scene in front of EVERYONE in the salon, which was extremely embarrassing. Even the other "nail artists" stopped to watch.
They lost a very loyal customer. I will make sure to tell everyone NOT to go here. SAVE YOUR MONEY FROM THESE LYING SCAM ARTISTS. THE SERVICE AND QUALITY IS NOT WORTH IT.

So, I stopped into this nail salon yesterday for a mani and a pedi. Male nail tech begins working on my pedicure, which was going pretty well. Of course, they get you to choose a "spa" service from their menu of overpriced items. Ok, that's fine, but then you switch workers on me, woman couldn't speak English nor, could she explain what "pedi ice" was and if she completed all the steps in my "spa" pedicure. She slapped the lotion on my legs and feet while they were still wet. No emotion, no feelings, no real massage from this woman at all. In fact, she kepted yarning through my entire experience. $30? I'm still trying to understand what was worth $30?! I get that the nail salon is in a mall, but come on folks, you've got to do better! Finally, I just had enough. Kindly asked the woman to stop, paid without even finishing my pedicure. Oh, and forget getting a mani. NO
TIP! Guess I helped pay for those fancy massage chairs they have, that was the only good thing about this place. Would not recommend to anyone.
