Story

A little about the owners... more to come...

Sue:
She was born and raised in Jackson, MI. Went to East Jackson schools. Her and her husband, Terry purchased The Hobbit Place from his uncle Ken a few years ago. Sue currently is a full time bus driver for Jackson County ISD and loves working with the kids. She has a very creative mind and ambitious heart so when Deb from Dee's Flowers retired she called us and offered us to buy her business. Sue was on board with purchasing it right away!

Nick: Sue's 2nd son. Went to Lumen Christi High School. He worked at Christoff and Son's for his uncles since high school up until Jan 2013 when he made the choice to come on board at The Hobbit Place. He is just like his mom Sue, ambitious and puts his whole heart into what he does. When he had the opportunity to join his mom and Wendy in this new venture, he was on board right away.

Wendy: The daughter-in-law and wife. Born and raised in the Parma/Spring Arbor area. She joined The Hobbit Place team in 2012. This was a great opportunity at a perfect time for her. Again, when she had the opportunity to join this new venture with her mother in law and husband, she was completely for it!

We are excited to start this venture with each other! Having us all family will really help us be the local family run business that we want to be!
