A lovely park set amongst deciduous trees and fringed by tidal marshes. Big open meadow with picnic shelter in the middle. There is even a small driftwood strewn beach on the north side of the island, near the tip, and a great view of Captain's Cove marina on the south side. The most unique aspect of the park is that it actually straddles the Massey Tunnel.

This is one of the best maintained parks around. There are several miles of level, well groomed walking trails, including some for horseback riding. There is a protected waterway ideal for canoeing or kayaking and lots of great picnic areas.

Beautiful park for picnics, fishing and swimming in the summer or just going for a walk down a trail. Unfortunately no bicycling any more in the trails due to accidents with pedestrians.

Been picnicking here for decades. Unique views of mountains and the Fraser River. The picnic tables can be crowded on holiday weekends. Some people fish from the shore, but I have never seen anyone catch a salmon.
