Stopped here for a quick breakfast and coffee since cafe regine was full and how serendipitous that it was! Great sandwiches and coffee. Cutest little outdoor patio in the summers. Amongst the sandwiches, we tried the pesto boccacini, the omelette croissant, and the emmental and prosciutto not sure, might be some other salami croissant sandwich. DELISH. Got the cappuccino, latte and mokaccino - also yum and I’m not even a coffee person. Loved it, will be back in a pinch.
This place has the best pastries ever, specially the caneleé!! Every time I’m in Montréal this is always my first stop! Must go and try their delicious coffee as well!
I would like to start by saying that I've been coming here to buy bread for at least 10 months and I have been coming here VERY often to get coffee for the past 3 months, the bread and desserts here are amazing and most of the staff is nice there are 2 ladies that 90% of the time have had a really bad attitude and almost have been rude to me but I have one constant problem I keep ordering DECAF coffees and today is the 5th time in 3 months they gave me a caffeinated coffee, I have an anxiety disorder and I'm extremely sensitive to caffeine and alcohol, I would really appreciate it if the people that work there would actually care to follow the specifications we want in our orders.
[Edit to respond: The price on Ubereats is 7.95$ per Bûchette. Check that. You set this price on Ubereats, didn’t you? I guess it’s fair enough for me to say it’s eight dollar. ]I like the packaging which was really cute. I bought one croissant and the coffret dégustation de bûche. I enjoyed the croissant a lot, probably one of the best croissant in Montreal. It was very crispy on the outside and tender, but slightly chewy inside. I didn’t even need to heat it up. On the other hand, the cakes were average and a bit pricey around 8 dollar for a small piece. The taste was not bad, I just thought the colorant in the Macaron not necessary. The icing on the raspberry one was not evenly spread. But overall, I would come again for their croissant.
Oh my goodness. I went there for a coffee one day. All of a sudden, I was in pastry, sandwich, and bread heaven. There are so many delicious items. The backery is big, very spacious. There is an outdoor terrace. And a few seats inside. Love it, it's become my coffee go to place, and at least one pastry a day..
Really tasty and freshly baked bread! The little terrace outside is perfect for brunch. Recommend it if you want to experience the French style of bakery and sandwiches!
LOVE this place. Delicious treats, bread, pies, delicious everything! The staff is nice, and i find the service is relatively fast too. I love purchases little desserts from there, the olive bread is amazing and time to time i get the chicken pies which are really buttery and tasty.
It was the BEST bakery in Montreal. The bakery has various kinds of bread, cheese, jam, goodies and snacks etc. The employees are so kind and we enjoyed this experience a lot! Also it is a perfect place for outdoor brunch!
Stopped by and got a couple of sandwiches and sweet baked goods. The sandwiches were tasty and good portions. The baked goods weren't authentic French pastries, croissants didn't have proper lamination and didn't taste like they were made using pure butter. The creams in the pastries were not great. The almond croissant had too much extract. The kouign Aman didn't resemble the typical style, was really big but still tasted good, the lemon cream version was far too lemon tasting and not balanced enough. The service was good, the staff was very pleasant and efficient and the store was clean. Overall the food still tasted pretty good, but if you are looking for proper French pastries, then I would not recommend this place. However, if you just want some pastries you could still enjoy this place. Pricing was very reasonable.
During my trip to here I got 3 pastries and they were really good! A coconut chou and à chocolate chou pastry for my friend that was really delightful. The coconut one had passion fruit that was tangy and just the right amount of acidity with the cream to top it off. Overall, I would come back to try their other pastries.
