They changed the name to happy pizza ,there still together with pizza 44 , went to pick up a Donaire and hot wings and the owner was very nice and helpful and got me to try out there fish and chips sample ! Wow I've never tasted fish like the way the cook it up !" Excellent I'll be going to pick that order over and over again " take a bite and dip it in there sauce and I couldn't put it down ! My hats off to you folks ! Better than British fish and chips and a hell slot cheaper ! They have off sales for hard liquor too ,cheaper than your corner stores and mixes !

U guys forgot to cut around the bugs in the donair meet this place gets there meet from a white van from a man named stan i think hes about 5'4 . Man i miss the old days back when it was called the purple onion

My boyfriend and I ordered at 1:27am, were told 20 minutes. 2:25am rolled around and nothing, so we called back to see where our food was, and were told that no one had ever placed an order in the last hour, which we had, so I just assumed must have been a system error can we please get it ordered, we reordered. 5 minutes later I get a call from someone 5blocks from my address saying that the pizza had been delivered to them, and they thought it was their brothers. So the order was made, LIE #1! Whatever, we have another on the way, not to angry. Another hour goes by, and it’s now 3:25 and still nothing so I call back to see what’s going on and the guy starts screaming at me about how it’s already been delivered, I tried to explain to home that we had confirmation it had been delivered to the wrong address, to which he continued screaming. I ended up having to hand the phone to my boyfriend so he could talk over his screaming and explain that we didn’t get our pizza and that we just want our pizza. Not special treatment. He continued to yell, and then grumpily huffed and said “ya whatever we will send a new one. “ Really bummed as so many friends and family members told us this place was amazing. And it is proving to be the exact opposite

Horrible experience. I ordered through Uber eats and the food here is not good at all. The lasagna is flavourless and was cold when I got it I don’t live far from the restaurant not Uber’s fault. The sauce in the lasagna also tastes and feels like it’s just extremely watered down tomato sauce. The packaging of the lasagna was also full of sauce and the tinfoil like packaging was dented in. I ordered cheese toast and the bottom was BLACK it was so burnt I couldn’t eat it. I should have looked at reviews before ordering. I wanted to order from a local business but doesn’t look like I’ll ever be ordering from here again.

Worst attitude I've experienced from anywhere. The food was uncooked and burnt. Just an overall bad place. They have three names, new York pizza & donair and day night pizza & donair. Highly recommend not to go there.

VERY BAD experience. We ordered Pizza Sticks, Chicken Fingers, Wings, and a Donair. There were food quality issues with every item. The Pizza Sticks were burnt on the bottom, and it had been shoved into a styrofoam box with pieces all on top of each other and just a mess. Chicken fingers were very poor, they tasted like the cheapest of nuggets, and the fries were cold and soggy. The donair.. ugh.. the donair was so bad. It was cold in the center, way too much sauce so it was just a gloopy, gross mess. Took one bite and tossed it. They forgot the drink for the combo. Wings were on the bill but not provided. Thankfully we ordered through ubereats so we were able to get a refund for half what we paid. Somehow I still felt ripped off.

Ordered two medium specialty pizzas and a donair tonight. Truth be told the food was pretty decent considering it was 3am, hot and fresh and was delivered within 40 mins. The only issues I had that dropped my rating was the very poor customer service, the medium pizzas are much smaller than expected and my donair didn't have enough meat but tons of veg. Donair sauce was on point, meat was tender and quite delicious. Pizzas cooked perfectly with a nice meat ratio. If I have another late night craving I'll probably call again. Honestly the attitude from the man on the phone could be forgivable but when the drivers expect you to walk to the car for your food, it's a little rude.

What an extremely awful place, will never consider this place as food even if it became dire. The guy over the phone was stupid ignorant. Didn't show up until over an hour and a half later, delivery person was a mess, stains everywhere i looked, attempted to come in and got snarky for a tip when I didn't let him in. Did I mention a random, extra charge of $9 for no reason? I would be very understanding of the time it took if I ordered for a family of 5, but I didn't. Ordered a mozza sticks and poutine, two plates that were more cold then hot/eatable.forced first few bites down to best of ability Google needs this zero system to be in effect pronto cause one star is much too fair of a rating for this "service."

Pizza was okay but the delivery driver almost accosted us because my friend made a mistake in her card twice in a row. He tried to force his way into my house to take the pizza back before I insisted on using my card instead. This is during a quarantine. I called the store and they said they would tell management but did nothing to offer me compensation for such an invasion. Meanwhile the driver texted me to offer compensation in the form of sexist flirtation. When I called the store again, they said to call the management in the morning or report it to the police.
