David R. Backus, DDS Inc.

On Tuesday August 29th I had a 8 am appointment. I woke up at 3 am running to the restroom puking ALL night from 3-8 am. My appointment was at 8. Figuring the Doctor wouldn't want to work on me I called in around 730 am (they were still closed) and left a voicemail explaining I was incredibly sick I couldn't come. This was my second time EVER going to this dentist and I went to him because I needed to go under anesthetic to get a root canal done. When he previously did my root canal he messed up. Big time. With still huge sensitivity to hot/cold in my tooth. But with a root canal you shouldn't have any feeling, the tooth is dead. Right? So I called last week and told them. The rude lady at the front desk told me it couldn't be that tooth. When I told her it for sure was THAT tooth then she said maybe my bite was off. I asked to come in and get it fixed because the pain was incredible. So now my Grandma gets a phone call today saying since I couldn't make it to this ONE appointment (remind you was never late or didn't show before) I could not come back and they could not FIX WHAT THEY MESSED UP THE FIRST TIME. I'd give no stars if I could but sadly to write a review I have to give them at least one. Oh also I've been calling the last half a hour with no answer to talk to them about this. Poor business. Update: Finally got through to someone and they said it's "their policy" and they "didn't have a voicemail from me". But to call back when I knew "I could make it." Least they're trying to make it right but sad after I went through all of this.

Fantastic experience. Amy and Donna are wonderful to interact with and great at taking care of teeth. Dr. Backus is also great. Everyone takes the needed time to do a great job. They are also very friendly and kind. I have been going there at least 6 years. I actually look forward to going to the dentist, because the people who work there are so pleasant, even if they have to do something a bit uncomfortable to your mouth. As a woman of color I have always felt very nicely treated and welcome.

Everyone in the office was so friendly and kind and understanding. Seriously could not have had a better experience.

They don't like black ppl so if you are black I wouldn't recommend it lol very racist vibe
