David Del Re Law Offices

David has a strong and gifted presence upfront, but poor execution. I retained him for legal services and he committed to cover the case well under the retainer by leveraging his staff. After accepting the assignment he was brief, late and arrogant in his style with me. He billed all hours at his rate and hit his retainer then quit as my lawyer. I plan on going to BBB and the State with my full complaint as soon as I have time. I would not advise hiring him based on my experience.

I did not use his services but a close friend of mine did, it turned out to be a disaster and had to be reviewed by the ARDC, Illinois supreme court. I would never use him or his staff for any legal cases.

At first, I was impressed. I felt I was in good hands, He was confident, agressive and a great litigator. He told me that the other attorney (a real estate attorney) wasn't very good and that this would be over quickly. When it didn't, he got bored with my case or he's too overloaded. He couldn't give my case the attention it needed. He dumped me on a new associate without letting me know. They spelled my married name wrong on court documents (when they remembered it at all). I had asked to reevaluate child support, and that never happened. I was given bad information and was almost held in contempt of court because of it. Then, after $11,000 and almost four years, I had trouble paying. They dropped me like a sack of potatoes and that was that. I was given 21 days to find a new attorney or go it alone. They give a false sense of security, the receptionist is rude, they do this every day, while my child is affected. Inpersonal, expensive, not productive, all talk no action. Typical attorney - the reason they have such a bad name! Do yourself a favor, keep lookin!
