I tried the some fancy which is served warm with butter, garlic and lemon. It tasted good but the cold ones are better. It was pretty expensive and had a lot of minced lobster in it. I would go back and try a cold one to see how it rates among the others I have tried.
Had the traditional famous lobster roll. It was tasty and the sweet potato chips went well with it! Would go back again for it!
The directions for everyone that was meeting us there was wrong, not just on Google maps but other mapping systems as well. The food was terrible. Plain lobster on a toasted small hotdog bun. There was no flavor. It just tasted like boiled lobster. No butter or sauce, just boiled lobster on a small bun. Everyone agreed it was lack terrible. No Dave, I was at Dave's Lobster at Avonlea Village. My roll was as described, it was like warm lobster on a bun - lots of lobster, can't complain about the amount, it just tasted like plain lobster on a hotdog bun - sorry, but it was what it was. The other two people I was with also said the exact same thing about theirs.
Tasty lobster on a toasted bun. The locals like them cold, but I liked the sautéed butter version. They are a little expensive though... which is fitting as the area is frequented by tourists and thus the season is short
I have tried local lobster roll. it was very delicious
My expectations were high. The taste was very good, but it downgrades with the service. IT TOOKS ME 45 MIN TO GET MY LUNCH. 2 half and half and 2 grilled cheeses. I was the third in line. Yes it was very good, but not worth the high price.
The space inside is so cute and clean! Love the little touches... oh and the food... yeah.
Best rated lobster rolls in PEI . If you like raw taste then try “ The local “ or if you want it warm and cooked in lemon and butter than try “ Some Fancy “ or if it is too meaty for you than try their “ Grilled cheese “ version of lobster sandwich. All too good if you want to eat lobster and love it
Not bad not good $30 for this is fraudulent
