Story

Located in Thickwood, in the Sobey's parking lot beside A&W, just up the hill from Hwy 63.

I am following in my family tradition of pharmacy service in Fort McMurray since 1922 when my Grandfather, Walter (& Gladys), then my dad, Ken, operated Hill Drugs.

I am proud to have Jo-Ann Wellman and Hayat Salha working with me as Pharmacy Assistants. They have worked with me for the past dozen years, and their service level is second to none.

Our emphasis is on fast and friendly service. We have the first Drive-Thru pharmacy in Fort McMurray, and we will fill your prescription in 2-4 minutes.

We have the most advanced technologies with a Parata Max robot that dispenses prescriptions often in <30 seconds so you will receive your prescription within a few minutes! The fastest service in town!

Amazing, positive, caring, respectful, super fun, friendly service. All questions answered with factual research to back up. Love the fast drive-through, and the soft ice cream indoors! 💜 Getting to know the employees by name as everybody is warm, welcoming and helpful.

Best place I ever worked at. Dave gave me a chance and helped me flourish and fine-tune skills I never knew I had. I love watching him interact with his patients, treating each one like his own family and looking after their well-being. I never get tired of hearing him remind customers to "Watch the Eskimos game tonight!!" and hearing him whistle out the window to the next customer in the drive through. He also lets me whistle when I feel like it and never tells me to quieten down:)

Always great customer service. We live closer to several pharmacies, but we feel valued and are treated like real people at Dave Hill. We came half hour after they closed without realizing, the cash registers were already shut down for the night, so he gave me what my little guy needed and asked me to come back to pay the next day! Dave and the team truly care. Quick, caring and professional, you can't ask for more than that, but on top of that they have a excellent hours and a drive thru, so when you or your kids aren't feeling good you don't even have to get out of the vehicle!
