They we're absolutely incredible! They helped me with a major issue right before the holiday weekend..they went above and beyond dealing with other agencies that were involved and made the necessary arrangements to get the fix done asap. Genuinely concerned about our situation and getting it done. I would recommend them 100 times over!
If you need plumbing services and you don’t call Dave Goldberg plumbing and specifically ask for Anthony you’re doing yourself a disservice, I’ve been using Dave Goldberg plumbing for over 40 years and they have never failed me. Their technician/plumber Anthony is wonderful, he works neat he works fast he works clean he is knowledgeable courteous and a pleasure to bring into your home for plumbing services. They replaced my sump pump with a new unitAnd they tested it out and cleaned up. Truly a five star operation and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any of their plumbing services.
Called this plumbing company to fix a mixer in the bathtub at the end of April 2016. The part had to be ordered and we were provided an estimate. A week later, the part arrived, and the plumbers came to install the unit. They did not order all the parts required to fix the problem. The final bill exceeded the estimate as they charged me for the extra hour to pick up the additional piece which they neglected to order properly to begin with. To add insult to injury, when they shut down and opened the main water valve we lost water pressure in our kitchen which was fine prior to the repair. I did not realize this until after the plumber left. My husband had been ill and my mistake for not calling the plumbing company back the same day. Two days after the work was done my husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness requiring multiple doctors visits and hospitalizations until his passing. The kitchen water issue, although annoying, was not at the top of my priority list. I did not address this problem until late July as a result of our personal, life changing events. The office manager has advised they will not back up their work past 30 days and will not come to fix the issue they created without additional charges even though there are extenuating circumstances. Not a company I would recommend or work with in the future - in addition to a lack of compassion for their customers, they proved themselves incompetent at pricing, parts ordering, and do not have a meaningful guarantee on their workmanship.
Happy with Goldberg Plumbing. Customer service is very responsive and helpful, and walked me through a few things I could do on my own to deal with frozen pipes, even though they were very busy. Mike and John came out asap, fixed what I needed in a timely manner and did a great job. Pleasure to work with. Would hire again.
Rude, Condescending, Nasty Service. My mother owned the house before me and used to use them and stopped. I never knew why. So when we had a huge problem after her death, I called them. They contracted out my business, without giving me a choice or telling me, first of all. The guy seemed nice enough, but he didn't seem to be listening to me, he kept talking to my sister's boyfriend who was not paying him and is not the homeowner and letting him make decisions that were mine to make. I chose to overlook that although it irked me. It wasn't worth making a thing over. Well, the problem was not fixed on the first try. He returned and no charge tried again but he thought there might be further issues down the line. I appreciated him making the visit free, since I was not expecting that, and I was okay with everything. Were that all that happened, I would not be writing this review right now. About fifteen minutes after he left, this woman from Goldberg called me and in a nasty, condescending tone proceeded to give me a lengthy lecture like I was a child that I did not provoke, furthermore, she scolded me that I should be grateful not to be charged for the second visit even though the problem wasn't fixed and the first visit was FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. To recap: I didn't call HER up yelling at her, she called ME. What business does that? She also started lecturing me about a problem with my pipes like I caused it, when meanwhile I know nothing about the plumbing system , I just inherited the house when my mother died. Maybe I had a bit of an attitude at the idea it was going to cost me another four hundred dollars to fix a problem I kept being told was fixed; but I never yelled at anyone, berated anyone, didn't call the company to complain, nor was I planning on writing a negative review until that totally unnecessary phone call from that nasty woman. These people act like they're doing you a favor by fixing your pipes when it's the other way around. Call someone else who appreciates your business.
