Dartmouth-Hitchcock Obstetrics, Gynecology & Nurse Midwifery

I have had some pretty terrible experiences with this place. My wife and I have been going here since we found out we were pregnant with our first baby. Our midwife ordered a breast exam at one of our first appointments as she felt a lump. I went in for my appointment with the breast specialist and she had no idea why I was even there as she couldn't get in touch with my midwife and she didn't explain why she was referring me to this appointment (everything was absolutely fine). Later, I decided I wanted the ultrasound in the first trimester to see if there were any issues with genetic disorders. I never heard from anyone about this referral and finally called to check in. Someone called me back the next day saying I needed to come in within the next 24 hours because I would be out of the first trimester soon. My wife was unable to come with me due to the short notice and unfortunately had to miss our first ultrasound. I went to the ultrasound and they said that I was too late and they couldn't do the genetic testing. Okay, so on top of all of that, today I go in for my first REAL ultrasound hoping to see my little babe and find out the sex. Well I am informed upon my arrival that "someone mixed up" and they did not order an ultrasound. Needless to say, I am done with this office and will be working on transferring somewhere new within the next few weeks.
