Abbott loop hiking fun, lots of nature to see, moderate terrain

Great place to enjoy nature. Roads in can get a bit rough. Some areas accessible only by 4x4 or by foot. Have used the land for campfires, shooting, hiking, and car camping. Serene spots can get spooky at night. Love to come here in the winter where it is unbelievably silent. Take out what you bring in.

Passed through on the finger lakes trail. There's a nice shelter here also. Started to follow another blazed trail. Just kept going. Can stay busy all day here
