Dalton Trail Lodge

So if you are planning to visit the area around Haines Junction, this is a great place to stay. From pictures the initial building looks kinda small, but the complex has some cabins scattered in the forest and near the lake. They will take care of your breakfast, lunch sandwiches, even to-go in coolingboxes and diner and its all great. They have a ton of stuff to hire like boats quads, cars and canoes. They have an playinghall, with biljarttable, ping-pong and so on, a bar, diningroom, and a chill space. For your hiking fishing or travelingthrough vacations its great, and the service is superb. The cabins/rooms are clean and big but are somewhat barebones lacking some brighter lights, tv if you really need that, in some cases wifi, airco again, only if you need that and other minor things, although they come with a mini fridge. One really great addition would be mosquito nets for the beds. They know alot about the trails hikes and other do-able things in the area so ask the staff! Would 200% recommend

It was a great experience staying at the lodge. The view of the lake is mesmerizing. Mike and Jackie are great hosts. They served us delicious dinner and breakfast even though we didn’t pre-booked the meals. Great place, delicious food! Definitely coming back!

A quiet and serene place. We stayed in log cabin by the lake . Mike the owner and chef was great guy. We enjoyed the stay there. Wish we could have done fishing tour which were closed .
