I'm conflicted about this place. It's not being used a lot of the time for what it was built for but it's a huge beautiful open space perfect for what summerland really needs.... A dog park. It wouldn't take up more than 1/5th of the area and it would be a win/win for the dog owners of Summerland and the sports people as well. I know that it is used primarily by people with dogs even though there are "no dogs allowed" signs everywhere.

Clean, well groomed. Gorgeous landscape! Wonderful management! I watch both grandkidlets play soccer here or attend practices 2-3 x per week per season. They love it!

Love it here. Walk, jog and play ball here. Just wish the hoops had their own yard, not shared with the parking lot...and the signs say no dogs.. everyone here has a dog lol

Dale Meadows Sports field has baseball diamonds, soccer field, football field, and a walking path all around the fields. It is a great place to walk your dog on leash on the Walking path. It is a great place to watch sports events when they are on. When there is no game it is a great place to simply walk around and play in the grass with pets or children. There is a creek on both sides of the park. It is located in a valley and the views are beautiful.

The space is awesome however it lacks maintenance. Better drainage to eliminate standing water,  top coating the gravel pathways and dog bag containers refilled more frequently are just a few of the items that need attention.

I'm able to play on a grassy area with my little dog & no goose droppings. So thankfull for a dog friendly place for Jewel & I to play.

I'm not personally into baseball but for the little town of nakusp this is a beautiful ball field very Americana!!! Or should I say Canadiana...lol  On just about any night of the week you can show up and watch a softball game either minor or Pro playing here, very fun.

RVs should be allowed out on the field. My dogs didn't like the gravel where we were parked.

Nice fields had fun playing in the actionfest tournament

Consession was  open  and I  had a  very good  hotdog  and  pop. Wind up  for  youth  soccer  and  also  baseball  games  were  happening  that  day. Could  have  used a  couple  more  garbage  cans and  something  for  recycling.
