Four offices are conveniently located in Eagan, Lakeville, Shakopee, and Owatonna, Minnesota.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Scott Rake, DMD, P. Angela Rake, DDS, Anthony A. Indovina Jr., DDS, Cassandra L. Stacy, DMD and Joby E. Jaberi, DDS, MD, practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. They provide expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

Drs. Rake, Rake, Indovina, Stacy and Jaberi’s staff is trained in assisting with anesthetic within our state-of-the-art office setting. We require our surgical assistants to complete the Dental Anesthetic Assistant National Certification Examination.

Had a tricky tooth extraction here on a broken 40 year old root cana. Not my favorite way to spend a morning. That said, Dr Taleb and the staff were really great about making sure I was comfortable, that all my needs we're met and my questions were answered. It went as well as it could and I had no discomfort. Will be going back in three months for a consult. Highly recommend Dakota Valley.

Very friendly people, took very well care of me getting 4 wisdom teeth pulled today. Went in super nervous but they were really comforting, it went fantastic. Much recommended. And I got a whole pint of ice cream from them too!!

The staff is warm and professional. The surgeon and assist were kind and communicated well with my 10 year old daughter. The surgery and recovery went smooth and free from complications. My daughter is a pro at this. We were 100% please with the service provided. The only dissatisfaction is extra built in charges. I was required to have 2 appointments. Insurance companies don't pay for this first visit. Just like any medical surgery you have the pre and post visits are suppose to be included in the surgery cost. This pre visit is not covered by insurance. I was told by the person making the appointment that it was to fill out paperwork and check insurance and for them to discuss whether we wanted nitrous oxide. I explained that I already check with insurance and understood my coverage, the child has already had several teeth pulled in the past and that I wanted the N2O gas for her. They had her xrays in hand and request from her Orthodontist instructing which teeth to pull. We went to the first appointment. Was told they were unsure what my insurance would cover. No problem as I already knew. Met with kind Dr. who told us which teeth would be pulled. Also already knew. Told them we wanted N2O gas. Lucky for me my insurance covered everything excect the NO2 (which I was aware of) and they cost of this pre visit. Was told by billing staff that I did not need to come to 2 appointments but that this same charge would have been added to my bill. (Focus Visit)

I had to have a tooth extracted and was dreading it, but this practice made the whole thing quick and nearly painless. The local anesthetic was injected very quickly, and with the help of a dab of topical anesthetic and some "laughing gas", I hardly noticed the needle going in. The surgeon's hand was in my mouth for less than 30 seconds, and the tooth was out. I was amazed! I wouldn't hesitate to return to these people for any other oral surgery, and highly recommend them.
