Metro Dentalcare Children's Dentistry Burnsville

Please get a second opinion if it is suggested that you have any dental work done. She is overly aggressive with children’s treatment plans. Often involving surgery that is not needed if you get a second opinion. I know that their can be differing of opinions in treatment plans and not everything is black and white but the discrepancies in diagnoses are too large to ignore.... We will not be back. Only positive was that the hygienist are awesome and great with the kids. However, our family was not a fan of the dentists chair side manor with us or the kids. Also very pushy with the dental trainer that is suppose to help prevent braces... multiple families have found the orthodontist saying this does nothing to help with prevention of braces later in their kids lives.

I choose Metro Dentalcare out of convenience, as they are close to my residence, but I was thoroughly impressed with how they handled all of my questions, how they put my daughter at ease for her first ever dental experience, and how they were ready with most of the information I needed before I even asked for it. They did an excellent job offering options without pressuring me to make financial decisions without having a chance to check with my insurance and do other research. I would absolutely recommend them.

I bring my 4 kids every 6 months all the way from St.Paul. it's worth the trip because they are all great people and dentist to see. Also always clean.

Our daughter was referred to Metro Dental peds in Burnsville because she had a cavity. I'll keep it short and blunt. The dentist, Dr. Alevizos, was very cold to her (she's 6) and very rude. The hygenist on the other hand, very friendly. We were told she had 10 cavities, 6 of them needing crowns. I felt horrible, my daughter had just been at the dentist 7 months ago, no cavities. We decided to get a second opinion, turns out she only has three cavities. I posted about this in my local moms group and to my surprise 10+ moms had similar experiences with the same dentist!!! I thought she made a mistake but it seems this is more serious, insurance fraud? Malpractice? Not sure, but I do know we are all filing complaints outlining our experience.
