This is not a normal DQ. The ice cream products are normal, but the food is way below normal DQ quality, with most foods being completely different than normal. ---- I originally did my review just after my visit. The Store Owner did respond as it appears they do for any other bad reviews. It was pretty disappointing that they slap in the same response to every complaint. So, bottom line, they have no thought to improve their food quality. I'm not sure what the requirements are for keeping the "Dairy Queen" name on your restaurant, but this one should be close to losing that label. The only reason I pulled off the interstate was because of the Name. You should value that name and try to get closer to DQ food quality. I moved my review to 1 star because of the empty response.
The staff and service at the Bowling Green, Ohio Dairy Queen are great! I’m always greeted with a friendly welcome. They are prompt and prepare your food/ice cream fast and it tastes great. My Grub Hub order was made and delivered with lightening speed. I highly recommend. Thanks guys and gals of the BG Dairy Queen- keep up the great work!
Drove 20 min out of the way and they were closed at 4pm on a Saturday. Posted hours are 10pm. Don't plan on ice cream if you want to go here!Food: 1/5
Only advice is fix the bathroom situation. Food n ice cream were just fine.Service: 5/5
This is the best Dairy Queen. They have a shredded chicken sandwich that is not to be missed. And, unlike other restaurants in the chain, they serve fresh hot crinkle cut fries. Kudos to them.
Ordered 3 chili dogs with added cheese. Payed extra for the cheese - 10 individual shreds of cheese! Almost looked like they counted them out. Cheese is an added item not a condiment that you cant taste. Also asked for onion one of them left out!. Order took too long and then could not find anyone to help. My Blizzard was melting by the time the food came had to eat it before my meal. We were one of only two tables occupied - young man that brought food out was nowhere to be found. Line to long to wait again. Also, while using pop dispenser had to listen to girl behind counter having conversation with apparent coworker across from counter speaking loudly about how they aren't paid enough and have to fake smiles at their customers. I get that its a tall order for a new owner to keep up to the previous owner. We all know they were very generous - Lets try just a little harder to get the basics.
Really dirty bathrooms with no bags in any of the trash cans. Ice cream was almost entirely melted as soon as it was handed over.
omg. i love everything about this Dairy Queen! friendly staff, quick service & a lounge area with 2 couches in the corner this DQ is leaps & bounds beyond your run-of-the-mill dairy dream, with all your classic faves to tap your childhood nostalgia! p.s. you can buy a box of DQ Dilly bars or a fancy cookie cake to take with you, too!
I will never buy a chili dog from this store again. Waited almost 15 min for simple chili dog. Was charged 40 cent for cheese and god only knows how much for onion They were preparing other meal over me. Know need to treat people this was. Asked twice where my chili dog was and the girl ended up going back and making it. She even microwaved the chili sauce. Grrrrr
This location is awful. No special items I get it, not all locations will, the food we did order was missing a burger from one meal and fries from the other. Took a good 25 minutes to get the food which was only made worse when you walk to the bathroom and see the back of house on their phones leaning against the counter. When the food finally did come the fries were cold and half cooked, a shredded chicken sandwich and hot dog looked worse than the worst episodes of kitchen nightmares. If you want ice cream, go to Eric's down the street. If you want food go to tropical smoothie across the lot or guahilios next door.
