I usually get a medium chocolate ice cream on a cone and that is plenty. Their team works fast and gets through lines so you're not waiting long. If there is no line, your order may be done before you've paid. I'm never satisfied with the sweet treats here.
We family with 3 kids went here on the Fourth of July. No wait, orders were made quickly, and flurries had toppings mixed evenly all throughout the ice cream. Also, when extra toppings were paid for, they were properly added. We have learned this is not the case. While it is unlikely we will be back to this DQ because of distance, we will always know how good it is.
Great seasonal store, can't wait till next year!

Brings u back to a simpler time when you on the side of the road enjoying a good ole fashioned Sunday. The young ladies that work the counter are nice too! Very good DQ that is a staple in my memories
Don’t come here if you want good customer service or the correct order..... I ordered a m&m blizzard and it was made with chocolate ice cream. It’s supposed to be made with vanilla ice cream so I asked them to remake it. The guy responded that it’s supposed to have chocolate syrup in it so it all got mixed up...fair. However, I didn’t want that much chocolate, therefore, I asked to have it remade to which I got attitude from the guy and the woman prepping the cup. Your store front is glass, so I saw that eye roll .
Cheaper and better than the other local Ice Cream shops. Always a great place to stop for a cool treat. My current go to when I want ice cream.
This place is normally good. However, today the worker did a few things that irritated me. First, I asked for two blizzards to go. The worker knew I wanted them to go since I told him several times. So he decided it would be a good idea to cram a spoon into the blizzards and spear the lid over the spoons. The first one made a mess because there was too much and it was hard to get the lid on with a spoon jammed in it. The second one had quite a bit over the top. Instead of getting a tall clear lid, he decides to scrap off about 4-5 spoons worth from the top into the sink. What a waste! I even asked him why he wasted all that ice cream and mentioned he should have used a tall clear lid. He mumbled something. Made me regret tipping them. : When I got home I unpacked a leaking mess with these damn spoons sticking out the top.
It was terrible! It took going to 3 different locations that were listed as having the Specials on the Blizzards before we could get one Free Blizzard and the Specials last to September 12, 2018. The only reason I continued to the third one that finally Honor the Free Blizzard Special in Royal Oak was because I didn't want to Disappoint My Grandkids! Dairy Queen is going to have to do BETTER if they want Me to spend My Money!
I ordered medium oreo blizzard that was little more than half full with very minimal oreo toppings. I just threw away in garbage in front of location and was told that's how they're told to make.
