Da Paolo Trattoria - Catering Caledon

Went in for apps and drinks. Warm friendly service in a recently remodeled place. There is a sports bar on one side and a more elegant dining experience on the other. We didn't check out the sports bar. Would definitely go back next time we are in Caledon.

The service was horribly slow. It took over 30mins to get our drinks. The foods came over an hour later without even an offer for breads. One thought the taste of the foods will compensate for all the wait but no. The foods were simply disappointing and not worth the wait. Lots of room for improvement. This place can change its name but it won’t gain better reputation without improving their service and foods. Big disappointment.

The food was great. Service was terrible. The restaurant was severely under staffed. When we went in, there were only two patrons and we had to wait a significant amount of time to be seated. Not too mention, after our meals were dropped off, we didnt see our server again. We had to ask another server to tend to tend to our table. At one point we had to get up to get someones attention as our drinks were empty. One person in our party asked our server for a suggestion, which she took. Upon receiving the food, the person in our party did not like the taste of the dish and politely informed our server and asked to order something else. The server asked what was wrong and then later told us that because it was taste and nothing else, she would be charging us for both meals, the new one and the one that didn't taste good. Overall, very dissatisfied. We're having a wedding close by and were actually looking at this restaurant as a potential venue for the rehearsal dinner. We will be passing on that option.

I have always loved this place. They have set this place up very nicely. It is just as current with decor today, as the day they opened. One side is a casual type of feel. Great family / pub stop vibe. I would bring the kids here for dinner or encourage the hubby to go watch the game. On the other side is place to celebrate in style. The food! I can honestly say I've never eaten anything here I didn't like!

Horrible service and short staffed. Waited 45 minutes for a coffee; our food for our table of 5 arrived at all different times over an hour an a half and all we ordered was wings and fries. Watched 2 tables not even get served even after 30 minutes they left wish we would have done the same thing!
