An excellent place to grt in and rummage about in. Some newer stuff you need, some older stuff. From the practical to the decorative. NOTE: the maps listing says open on Monday but that is irregular. If you do want to stop in on a monday i suggest calling first
Such a sweet random place! Found some really cool things. The owner was incredibly kind to us.
My sisters and I stopped here while on a weekend getaway. We had all chosen items. I called the lady, Dorothy, to us to get pricing. She proceeded to scold one of my sisters for choosing an item that hadn't been priced, she gave a big price for a chair I was interested in. When we tried to negotiate she was extremely rude. Totally unacceptable behavior. We all put our items down and left. I've read all the reviews. The negative ones are spot on. I dont know what thrift store the positive reviewers were at.
Glass Dragonfly Thrift Store Illwaco, WA. I could go on, but the best way to sum up. Don’t bother. She Dorothy is rude, believes her “thrift” items are Smithsonian worthy or just doesn’t want to sell anything. Regardless, annoying, unprofessional, just pass. So, I read these positive reviews and am struggling. Surely posted by individuals who are not real or have no idea how badly she screwed them. Educate yourselves.
Lovely store. The owner is such a nice gal. Will be back for sure!
First time in here a few days ago. We were vacationing at the time, and i have a weak spot for small thrift shops. This one was a gem! The owner is an absolute doll and is very chatty and charismatic. I found some neat vintage lace curtains at an exceptional price! Great store, Dorothy! We'll be back to visit!
This is just the coolest place. I shop here a lot, and I ALWAYS find really great stuff. It's like going on an awesome scavenger hunt in a giant treasure chest! The owner is the nicest lady, I like to go in and visit with her as I'm shopping. Lots of different & unique things to every day! And if you are looking for something specific and you don't see it, just ask, she might have it in the back! GREAT PLACE!
Friendly, engaging, energetic owner. Believes strongly in what she does and shares truckloads of items throughout the year with those individuals in need. It makes you feel really good about dropping off your unwanted items knowing they are going to such a worthy shop.
The woman there was extremely rude. There were items that were not marked and when we asked if they were for sale , she jumped down our throats accusing us of intentionally pulling the items out of just donated boxes. When we told her the box was inside the room where other items were displayed she made the comment "Don't you know not to take items out of a box at a thrift store". Since she was quite agitated with us we told her that it was fine and we would not be purchasing the items. She said no and then priced the items twice of what the original price was. What a ripoff!!!!
She stole everything I had on consignment she uses and robs people to pay her bills and live off other people totally un godly and lies about being non profit she's abusive
