Sid's Supermarket

Sid's is a rather small IGA. But is has fresh fruits and vegetables. If you usually shop the perimeter of the store you can find some very good deals. If you are looking for the inner aisles (canned, bottles, soup, spices, cereal) you can find some very good deals. Don't forget to pick up a current sales list on the left side of the store.

It's a great place to purchase those items you forgot to get "across the River". A little pricey, but well-stocked and great staff.

Sid's has been open for many years and is named after a unique man who not only was a pillar of this community, built his success thru hard work and decency. He helped many people, remained approachable, often at the store greeting and helping customers, even helped me jump start my car not long before his passing, and had no "airs" about his prestigious position of US Senator which was also part of his devotion to promoting people for decades. There is pride in visiting his store and it is well supplied and the employees very polite, helpful and pleasnt.

Selection okay. Produce prices not terrible. Generally avoided it. Went to Costco or Fred Meyers for pantry items just to save money. They do have a red box. Mainly went for that and last minute items

Great people and quick stop great deals in the deli. Not much variety if your looking for something not very popular you probably wont find it here.
