D A Kurt Insurance Broker Ltd

I read the reviews prior to going to D A Kurt but was convinced by a good friend that they are a great insurance broker. Took the plunge and couldn't be happier. Their rates were over $450 cheaper than what TD offered me (2nd best rate I was able to find). The process was hassle free and overall a laid back process from start to finish. Thanks!

They were pretty good once upon a time, they used to have a receptionist who would answer the phone immediately and pass you on to a broker I used (Alex Sasic) who was great. Now you have to use their phone menu and are stuck on hold for literally an hour before someone answers. The people who answer are typically rude, condescending and make critical errors on quotes and registration. Going to shop around when my renewal comes up.

Great service, and even the CAA could not beat their auto rates. Had a major accident last year, everything was handled quickly and professionally. I had paid the deductible to the body shop, and a month later, I was reimbursed by D A Kurt. An unexpected surprise.

I haven't had to use them a whole lot thank goodness. My issue is waiting 45 minutes on hold every single time. Its ridiculous and they won't fix it. I have been with them for 25 years, maybe its time to change-I am just trying to add my teens onto policy and the one took an hour and a half. The next teen, I will try to stop in in person.

Very poor communication, no one ever answers their phones and 45 minutes on hold. Told time and time again they are short staffed. Billing wrong even after trying to clarify. Wors insurance company I have dealth with and we left after only 1 year.
