Ordered combination plates 4 and 6, as well as an order of hot and sour soup, and we were impressed by the portion sizes, fair pricing and freshness. A couple of the items weren’t really to our taste spring rolls tasted quite oily, and the hot and sour soup just wasn’t our favourite so would probably give 4.5 stars, but we will definitely order from here again and try more things from the menu. Quick delivery and easy to order right on their website.

First time trying!! Was so surprised at the amount of food, it was delicious. Exactly what we needed for our hangover. As someone that does not eat beef or pork i was extremely happy to see them have combo options with spring roll! I wish maybe more veggie combo options but im sure you can call and upgrade changes. Just wish the general tao was a tiny bit spicier but great place. We will be back

Although the Singapore noodle didn't have many shrimp, it was delicious. First time ordering the non breaded sechzuan chicken and that was excellent! I recommend. Ordered beef sezchuan and general tao chicken combo with a wonton soup.... WOW! Delicious and fresh as usual! Soooo good and such big servings! My #1 place for Chinese food combos. Ordered again, DELICIOUS as usual! I tried combo #8, shrimp in spicy garlic sauce and chicken chop suey, for the first time. It was very good, worth trying! Also was always hesitant to get the chicken balls because its mostly dough in other places but not here. There's plenty of chicken in each ball!

First time, my old favourite has declined, sadly. But wow, found my new favourite! Awesome fresh food the best for me, open end egg rolls, not greasy, proportions are absolutely generous and worth the money! Highly recommend. Thanks so much and appreciate the handwritten note on the bill responding to a request. Ordered through Uber Eats. Oh and food was piping hot, never saw this before on takeout!

Delicious, cheap. Large portions. Our go-to take out Chinese spot in Ottawa. Great egg rolls. One combo size is enough food for two people, with left overs.

These guys do Canadian-Chinese Food right. They make a solid open ended egg roll that rival GP, but their spring rolls are the underrated delicacy. I also like their spicy crispy beef and the Cypress Shanghai Noodle. Egg Foo Young offerings are also good. Some good Szechuan style plates here too, which are sometimes hard to find in Ottawa. All in all I haven’t went wrong and you can order delivery off their site without handing profits to Uber.

Admittedly I've only ever had the combination plates and open ended egg roles, but it's because they are the best I've found in the city and I keep going back to them. The food never disappoints, and the amount you get for the price is unmatched anywhere else in the city.

Delicious doesn’t even begin to cover it! This is the perfect place to treat yourself to a big dinner! It was a little on the pricey side, but not anything out of the ordinary for takeaway, especially considering the huge amount you get in each dish. We ordered way too much and the portions are GINORMOUS! They were super also accommodating for a shellfish allergy, and made sure to acknowledge that they understood the note, which is super comforting. There were TONS of veggies in the cantonese chow mein, and they were super crispy, fresh, and delicious made up for our lack of veggies in the rest of the order. They have my all-time fave mushroom eggdrop soup which is always a win for me. We will absolutely be ordering from Cypress Garden again and I can’t wait to eat all those leftovers!

It's a hole in the wall mom and pop shop! It is only for takeout but the food and portions were a good size! Much easier if you order by phone or via internet. I would go back again.

Great Chinese take-out. I was pretty happy with the price and the food was good and didn't have to wait too long. I got combo #3.
