CVS Pharmacy

I go to this CVS because it's close to home. The pharmacy staff are awesome but the Management is awful. The last 2 times I was there I had issues. Once the lady at the register barely spoke English and didn't know how to scan in coupons. After I left the store I looked at my receipt and the coupons weren't taken off so I needed to go back in to get things adjusted but the lady didn't know how to do it so she called the manager and the manager wouldn't come help so it took her awhile and still didn't get it right so when the manager came back up she was rude to me and I still didn't get the correct amount back... it wasn't my fault, your staff needs better training! I just wonder how many other customers thought they used coupons that didn't get the money off. Today there was a line of people and just 1 lady working the register so she called for help and it took awhile but a manager finally came to help be she was also rude and was talking to friends that were at another register instead of paying attention to the customer in front of them and taking up space so other customers could get to the register to pay for their items. You definitely need help with customer service!

I rarely leave reviews but after the day I had today, this pharmacy deserves 5 stars. I literally spent hours dealing with the headache of a prior authorization for the medication I'm on. I understand this process takes time and the cooperation of multiple parties involved. A week and a half without having this very expensive medication covered is unacceptable though, especially when it's unsafe to stop taking it. After getting nowhere with the insurance company, my doctor's office, and then my usual pharmacy being out of the medication, I had my prescription transfered here. The pharmacist named Corey who helped me, went above and beyond her job to be a patient advocate for me when everyone else failed. This woman is an angel. She did more for me in 2 hours than both my insurance company and doctor's office did in 10 days. It's terrible that all the people familiar with the situation couldn't be bothered to make sure I was able to continue taking my medication, yet pleasantly suprising that this pharmacist who didn't know me swooped in to save my day and stand up for me. Patient advocacy is often lost in todays age for various reasons. I'm grateful to have found someone who possesses this rare quality to handle my medical information and prescriptions.
