CVS Pharmacy

This is the only place that always know how to process insulin under Medicare Part B. I was travelling and ran out is insulin today. They called Medicare and got an override to fill it early. I am very grateful for their compassion and expertise.

Staff very pleasant, but disappointed in the sanitary procedure displayed while seeing them give a shot. The pharmacist put on gloves, then touched dirty door handle and walked out and around to the person waiting. They also rubbed their arm after cleaning it with said dirty gloves before injecting. Just seemed like an easy way to add door handle germs etc. to an injection site. Maybe retrain pharmacist on proper procedure for administering an injection would be helpful.

I am so disappointed Target sold out to CVS. I have gotten the exact same medication, every 30 days, for the past 9+ years. Ever since CVS took over, they are consistently out of stock when it comes time to refill, making me wait up to 4 days for my prescription. Last time they notified me that my prescription was ready, I went in and it was only a 3-day supply. I live 30 minutes from the store, so it was a major inconvenience. Since it is so difficult for them to stock medications that are filled on a regular, predictable basis, I will be switching pharmacies.

I haven't had good luck with them since the change. I am searching for a new pharmacy that will work for me.
