Currents at the Riverhouse

My meal was excellent and the staff is extraordinary. I fell back to sleep after ordering room service this morning and not only did they not charge me for the original order (which is above and beyond seeing as it was completely my fault), but when I called again after waking up, they brought the same order in less than 20 minutes. Everything was perfect. I'm genuinely touched at how well I was treated and the food was so good my only regret is how fast I ate it. 5 stars.

Great food and atmosphere, right along the Deschutes River. Has outdoor seating for the warm weather. I had the chicken fried chicken and biscuits and the corn beef hash over the two days that I was there for breakfast. Both were really good.

Best part was the great service. Colin was fabulous and really went the extra mile to make our experience good. Food was good as well.

The Bar experience was great! Our lodging while we love the upgrades and location. We seemed to always have a few issues with experience. First stay our toilet leaked . They tried to fix, and helped for a bit. But it didn't last. We were graciously offered a free night stay. Which we took advantage of. Second stay, l left my down pillow behind (bright green case) and immediately went to the front desk and informed them that when switching rooms to accommodate my husband who was arriving for the 3 day weekend we booked that our pillow was left not more than 5 minutes before. I asked if I could retrieve it, and was told no that staff would bring it to our new room. This never happened. Even though I contacted hotel room service, guest services, and house keeping. It continued to plague the stay. And we never found it. Weeks later we were mailed a gift check for another free night. And since I had one more trip to take to Bend visiting my son I used it. This time it was uneventful. We were on the far side of the Hotel across the river. But it was probably the best night spent with them to date. Crazy but I'd return! It's location is#1 and the restaurant is romantic right off the river. Staff is friendly and beds are new and comfortable.
