We used current electrical to put our microwave on a different fuse and install 4 can lights. The owner was very prompt in communication. The prices were fair and expectations clearly laid out on initial consultation. The technicians were timely, thorough, and efficient. The ONLY one of 5 Ann Arbor area electricians that called me back after I had electrical line damage to my house which I was also putting up for sale the next week since I was moving from the storm that came through Aug 29, '22. Called back same day, work was done on time, reasonable rate, very professional and responsive. Never heard from any of the others! Would only therefore recommend Current. Fast. Responsive. There when you need them!

We found this company by looking at their Google reviews, hoping that they would be reliable and competent, but how wrong we were. We called them and explained that we needed two dimmers to be installed and a garage door light sensor to be serviced. They said they would charge 160 dollars for an hour. One of their technicians, Jeremy, showed up on Oct. 4th, at 8:57, right on time. My wife showed him the job in 5-10 minutes. Then he left our house without saying anything and didn't show up until 12:30 and this time he brought another technician David. They spent 1.5 hours together and installed pipes and 5 different junction boxes in the garage and a remote switch in the house, claiming that the sensor will fail every year and creating unnecessary jobs, so they can charge me more. He was lying, a dusk to dawn sensor is giving 18 years of warranty. Even though they only worked 1.5 hours, 12:30 to 14:00pm they charged me 2.5 hours for David and 5 hours for Jeremy. I wasn't informed I would be charged 320 dollars for an hour because now there are 2 of them. Even so, they were only here 1.5 hours, not 7.5 hours. So I thought this type of company is everywhere so forget it. Last week, one of the lights was working irregularly. How did they even manage that? So this company cheats and charges me for the time they are not even here, but they are so incompetent they can't even get the job done right. I can't understand how certified electricians can do this kind of faulty job. I called on Oct. 13th the owner of Current Electric, Tim. I told him the whole story and asked him how re-wiring of 2 lights and changing 2 switches to dimmers can take 7.5 hours. He was supposed to do his "due diligence" and figure out the time and also fix the faulty work. Of course you guessed that right, he never called back. Here I am, paid 5x160 total of 800 dollars when they weren’t  here that long. and my lights are still not working. I am not even talking about the exaggerated cost of materials - 390 dollars for re-wiring of 2 lights, where a new sensor is around 15 dollars. I will never use Current Electric again and please be warned on how they operate. I also don't understand how there is no tax information on the receipt.
