NOT IDEAL FOR TENT CAMPING. We reserved a site for 2 nights one weekend. The first night it was super loud, there were big groups on each side of us but far enough away that we were able to get a little bit of sleep on and off. At one point there was a super loud boat that took off on the lake around 3 am right next to the campground. Just crazy loud all night. In the morning we headed to the lake, spent the day swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Fun! But to our dismay, when we returned to our campsite, exhausted and just wanting to relax, the site next to us had a stereo *blasting*, 4 tents and an RV- definitely NOT a group site, either. Still tired from the night before we knew we weren't getting sleep that night and decided to just pack up all of our stuff and leave. At one point one of the hosts drove by WHILE we were tearing our tent down, and we mentioned we were leaving early, and how ridiculously loud our neighbors were being (while their music is blasting and dogs are barking) and they pretty much just said "okay". Said nothing to people blasting music, made no apologies to us, no offer for a refund, just did absolutely nothing at all.
That campground is an absolute dump, and you don't want to use the bathrooms.. they're just porta potties that don't get clean, I can't even describe how bad they smell.
Too many amazing spots close by to camp, we won't waste our time there again
