Crowne Plaza Pittsfield-Berkshires

The facilities need to be updated, but everything was clean and acceptable. Very comfortable bed. The location is perfect to explore town and the price was right. I would stay there again. The parking garage is scary and really needs repairs.

I was there for a food and craft fair. Hotel lobby was inviting, stylish, and modern. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Located in downtown Pittsfield it was easy to find and had a parking garage.

Where do I start hmmmmmmm. 1) They put our elderly parents on a level that had no elevator near the pool and it stunk like chlorine. Made them nauseous. They found out later it was the smoking rooms and they did not ask for one of those. 2) There was a wedding party there that caused so much noise till 5am 2 day’s in a row. Many customers complained. 3) The parking situation is absolutely absurd. Like 30 spots in the whole garage. Pray concrete doesn’t fall and scratch or dent your roof. You have to park on the side of the road and hope junkies don’t bash your windows in at 3am. 4) The elevators are on there last leg and you spend more time waiting for them versus sleeping in your room. 5) Our room had a funky old throw up smell to it which we killed with incense. 6) The a/c was useless. Room remained at 72 for 2 day’s. 7) They took 18 day’s to charge my debit card and screwed up the price royally. 8) One person we traveled with had their credit card information stolen by this hotels employees and were charged $1500 at Home Depot. Obviously their bank fixed it. 9) I didn’t get to enjoy myself at all or get to relax because of all the noise and it cost $310 for 2 nights. 10) Another person we traveled with was charged for 3 rooms. They knew they screwed up yet held onto $600 for 3 day’s. 11) Avoid this place all costs. It’s truly a dying building. None of this is fabricated, it’s just a horribly managed hotel that probably needs to just die. I could list more issues I had for the money but who cares cause me or anyone I know will never be back. Good luck. 12) Oh yeah, the buffet was disgusting. Powdered cheesy eggs and “white” sausage with burnt bacon and cheap orange juice. If you like cereal you’ll be fine. Wasted $30 for 2 after tip which was also a waste because the lady was obviously not happy to be there that morning. Sorry owners but first impressions are everything and the only thing when it comes to hotels nowadays. I didn’t want to write this but $310 is a lot of cash when all you get is a bed and place to take a poop.

Facilities are a bit worn and could use an update, but this is a comfortable, clean hotel with friendly service and reasonable prices.

Great location and service clean and comfortable rooms. Probably due for a renovation as the room and decor seem a but behind for a Crown Plaza. Would like to see fridges in the room at least
