What a wonderful coffee shop! Its very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is of course, fantastic and this is a great place to stop during a walk downtown, on your work break or anytime really. I highly recommend everyone to stop in and enjoy the charm of our local coffee shop.
Let's start with the positives... 1 Local coffee shop that acquires beans in an responsible manner. 2 They roast them as well 3 cafe is very light and bright with free Wi-Fi, lots of seating and beautiful decor. I ordered a pour over Ethiopian bean, hot chocolate, and a lemon poppyseed muffin... Negatives.....1the hot chocolate came in a medium cup that was only filled halfway! As I took it to go I was not aware until the person who ordered it took the cap off to reheat it. Very disappointing! 2 the lemon poppyseed muffin was stale and dry...It seemed to be days old...I threw it away and stopped at Wegmans to get a muffin which is why the hot chocolate got cold! The next comment probably falls into personal preferences... I felt the Ethiopian bean was over roasted...too dark of a roast for such a complex bean...but I tend to prefer the style of Stumptown or places like La Colombe use.... I may give it one more try as I want to suppprt local and my pour over Ethiopian was done correctly which is a big deal...#pourover #localcoffee

This is the most consistently well-made coffee in the area…no coffee shop in southern Chautauqua county comes close to Crown Street in quality. Smooth, flavorful, never bitter. The food I’ve tried so far is also delicious. Staff are very courteous and the couple who own Crown Street are knowledgeable, warm, and kind. They even host coffee tasting classes to explain the art of coffee making, from growing to roasting the bean. The only reason they don’t have 5 stars is because just one coffee they produce is shade grown “shade grown” protects the rainforests from being plowed down for unneeded full sun on the coffee plants. But many coffee houses have no shade grown coffee, so I applaud Crown Street for at least getting people thinking about this important choice!
Great service, amazing food. The small means small when you order a coffee. Big flavor in a tiny cup. I should have ordered 2 or a bigger size.
I heard great things about this place. So I decided to drive 3 hours from my home to check it out. And honestly im happy i did. Had a great time. The food is beyond perfect and the coffee was Top notch. And the service couldnt have been better. Ill definitely be back.

The coffee is tasty and their food there is original and creative. I do think that they take a really long time to get their orders done and ready but besides that i love the place!
